John Rochard works for a huge astro mining corporation called Skyrig. He has a problem; his team is the lowest producing team in the solar system.
John and his crew are working on a remote asteroid field when they discover an ancient structure inside of an asteroid, humankind's first proof of extraterrestrial life.
While John goes to call in the amazing find, his whole team vanishes without a trace. John finds himself stranded on an asteroid and to make matters worse, space pirates attack the mine in a hope of making a quick fortune.

Rochard is a game where manipulating gravity and using the G-Lifter (a gravity device used to easily move weighty objects around) are crucial elements for success. With the help of his sci-fi mining tools and taking advantage of the laws of physics, the protagonist John Rochard will carry you through a game packed with puzzles, action, humor, great music, excellent level design and a story rich of twists. If this ever becomes a movie, may I suggest John Goodman for Rochard? ;P

That would be a good fit indeed!
But he's voiced by Jon St. John, the voice of Duke Nukem, so we will need to work on that ;)

And he does such a fantastic job, too. :D Goodman's no slouch as a voice actor as well. For some reason I keep thinking of The Big Lebowski and The Babe...maybe a mix of that would work? Oh well. I want to hurry up and beat the game already! :la: I like a good story but I want to know what happens next, not to mention I want to hear the Poets' song in full. ;P
